  • When (on what date) did he win it?
  • What's he doing now?
Although no one ventured a guess, the Correct Answer is:

  • Lou Eisenberg was the first person to ever win a $5 million lottery prize which was the historically largest jackpot in the world.
  • Lou won this on Friday the 13th of November 1981.
  • Today, Lou is in his 70s and lives on his Social Security payments because he spent all of his winnings.

  • Has any US State(s) ever been a member of both Mega Millions and Powerball? (Yes or No)
  • If Yes: Which one (or ones)? And when?
Although no one ventured a guess, the Correct Answers are:
  • Yes, one state was a member of both Lotteries.
  • It was Georgia, who joined Powerball on July 1st 1995 and left on August 31st 1996 to join the the Mega Millions predecessor!
